Midwives
Hello everyone.
My name is Kaz Gleason, and I'm the Chief Operations Officer of Infant Fit.
First, I'd like to thank each of you for the work you do every day. Whether you're
supporting families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, or newborn care,
you're making an incredible difference during one of life's most important moments.
At Infant Fit, we recognize that families often look to you as one of their most trusted
sources of guidance. That's why I wanted to introduce you to a product we believe
aligns beautifully with the philosophy of individualized, thoughtful newborn care.
Infant Fit was created by parents and inspired by the experience of welcoming five
children at home.
Like many of you, we've experienced those precious first days after birth, where every
little detail matters.
One thing we noticed was that while so much attention is given to caring for the
umbilical cord stump, the clothing available for newborns often works against that goal
rather than supporting it.
Parents are routinely taught to keep the cord stump clean, dry, and exposed to air
whenever possible.
Yet most newborn onesies completely cover the abdomen, and traditional diapers
frequently sit directly against the cord.
Many parents find themselves folding diapers down, adjusting clothing, or improvising
solutions to reduce unnecessary rubbing.
We asked ourselves a simple question.
Why hasn't newborn clothing evolved to meet the unique needs of newborns?
That question became Infant Fit.
Our signature organic bamboo jumpsuit features a specially designed abdominal
opening that leaves the umbilical cord area uncovered while keeping the rest of the
baby's body comfortably dressed.
One aspect of newborn care that parents don't always consider is temperature.
If the goal is to keep the umbilical cord exposed to the air, many parents worry that
leaving the abdomen uncovered means their baby will become cold.
Our design addresses that concern.
The Infant Fit jumpsuit keeps the baby's arms and legs comfortably covered with
luxuriously soft organic bamboo fabric while leaving only the umbilical cord area
exposed.
Rather than relying on additional clothing or blankets over the abdomen, parents can
focus on maintaining a comfortably warm environment while still allowing appropriate air
circulation around the cord stump.
We also developed a diaper designed to snap comfortably below the umbilical cord
rather than covering it, helping reduce unnecessary contact with this delicate area.
Together, these products create a newborn clothing system intentionally designed for
the baby's earliest days.
We certainly don't view Infant Fit as replacing the education or guidance that you
provide.
In fact, we see it as reinforcing it.
When you explain proper cord care to new families, Infant Fit gives parents clothing that
naturally supports those recommendations instead of requiring workarounds.
For many parents, that can increase confidence during a time when everything feels
new.
Our hope is that Infant Fit becomes another resource in your toolbox—something you
can confidently recommend to families looking for clothing designed specifically for
those first two weeks of life.
We also recognize that your care extends far beyond the physical.
You help parents feel supported, empowered, and confident.
We wanted our products to reflect those same values.
Every seam, every snap, every fabric choice, and every design decision was made with
intention.
Our organic bamboo fabric is exceptionally soft, breathable, and gentle on sensitive
newborn skin, providing comfort without sacrificing functionality.
We believe innovation in newborn care doesn't always require creating something
complicated.
Sometimes it simply means asking a better question.
What if newborn clothing was actually designed around the needs of newborns?
That's the question Infant Fit set out to answer.
We would be honored to partner with birth professionals like you as you continue
supporting families during these extraordinary first days of life.
Thank you for the work you do and
Thank you for taking the time to learn about Infant Fit.
If you'd like to examine the garments, ask questions about the design, or receive
informational materials to share with your clients, we'd be delighted to connect with you.
Our goal isn't simply to sell a product—it's to provide families with another thoughtful
option during one of the most important transitions of their lives.
We hope you'll consider adding Infant Fit to your list of trusted recommendations for the
families you serve.
Together, we can help make those first days just a little more comfortable, a little more
thoughtful, and a little easier for every new family.
Thank you.
